JellyPlayer TV 1.3.0

TV 1.3.0 is available, with improvements to Home, episode continuation and updates.

Reopening JellyPlayer now takes you to Home. Continue Watching keeps one card per show and offers the next available unwatched episode after you finish one, including when you move into a new season. Playback progress is also saved when you leave the player.

Updates can now be downloaded inside JellyPlayer, with download progress, package verification and Android’s installation confirmation. Updates remain optional: choose Update now when prompted, or return to Settings later.

This release remembers audio and subtitle language choices across videos, improves timeline focus and seek feedback, and offers Retry when a seek stalls. Library refresh preserves cached episode information and progress; an unsuccessful guide refresh keeps the previous guide.

If you use an older public version, install the 1.3.0 APK once to get the new in-app updater. Future updates can then be downloaded from inside JellyPlayer. The download page shows both the APK and Downloader code; phone setup now has its own page.

We checked Home navigation, real-stream seeking, track preferences and installation on a TCL TV, alongside automated tests. Intermittent audio and provider-specific playback issues remain under investigation.
